rayn dance theater rayndance.org rayn dance theatre (rdt) is an energetic and enthusiastic contemporary dance company that is present in multiple ways throughout the phoenix community. rdt is the resident professional company of rayn dance center for the arts, located at 1861 e baseline in tempe. company members teach all styles of dance at the center in a positive, fun, healthy, encouraging atmosphere for children, teens, and adults! in addition to the dance education provided at the rayn dance center for the arts, rdt performs, teaches, and choreographs at schools throughout the valley. the company also presents annual fall and spring concerts at venues such as scottsdale center for the arts, and regularly looks for opportunities to perform at local schools, community happenings, and other events in the southwest united states. rdt frequently performs at artwalks, coffee shops, art galleries, and any other place that will allow dance! some recent appearances include the phoenix pride parade and celebration, san diego's celebrate dance festival, and asu's art museum for family fun day. as a company, members seek to promote physical and mental health and learning through the arts, supporting organizations such as the susan g komen foundation for breast cancer research and incorporating dance into learning for students at schools such as summit school of ahwatukee, desert ridge high school, and valley view elementary. please visit our website at rayndance.org for more information, including a photo gallery, schedule of classes, and more.
